About April:

April recalls that her love for music began at the age of two when her Aunt Rita would stand her in the center of the living room, hand her a recording microphone and headphones and encourage her to belt out original baby tunes. Born into a family full of artists, songwriters, opera singers and musicians; it was only a matter of time before April would follow in her family's footsteps. 

In elementary, middle and later high school, April furthered her study of voice and theatre both privately and scholastically but her passion became even more magnified when she began studying the arts at Alexander Hamilton's Music Academy in West LA. It was then that she took hold of opportunities such as performing on "Good Day LA", growing up beside artists such as Fiona Apple, members of Maroon 5 and Abraham McDonald; she seized opportunities in securing an agent and joining the actors' unions.  Her passions soon turned to the recording industry, and at age 17 she recorded her first album. Since then she has sung on numerous albums including the European cast recording of Hair, the original soundtrack of the film Zombie Prom, and her self-titled solo album which was completely written and produced by April herself. She also works throughout Los Angeles as a songwriter and demo singer, recording various commercials and demos. 

April has been fortunate enough to travel the globe while working as a professional Singer but it was when she set off for Europe that she fulfilled a lifelong dream of becoming a cast member of Cameron Mackintosh's Miss Saigon.  Some of her favorite roles include: Sally Bowles in Cabaret, Ellen in Miss Saigon, Trina in Falsettos, and Chava in Fiddler on the Roof.   

April has enjoyed traveling the United States performing with many Top 40's bands and singing backup for Grammy award winning choreographer, Tina Landon. With these bands, April has performed in an array of venues spanning from The Viper Room to the Staples Center.

She has also done numerous national commercials and print campaigns. Currently, she is in production as a principal in the movie musical Zombie Prom, starring RuPaul  produced by Wes Craven. April is a proud member of the Screen Actors Guild, AFTRA, Actor's Equity Association, and ASCAP.
